Service description

PlayRivet connects to your Google account and maintains dynamic playlists on your real YouTube account. During alpha, users define channel sources, filters, and sort order; PlayRivet refreshes matching playlists daily through the YouTube Data API v3.

YouTube Terms of Service

Using PlayRivet requires connecting a Google account and interacting with YouTube data. By using PlayRivet you agree to these Terms and to the YouTube Terms of Service, to which you separately agree as part of connecting your Google account.

Complimentary alpha access

Users receive complimentary alpha access. There is no checkout or billing, no active paid subscription, and no team-management feature during alpha.

• Alpha access — Personal playlist maintenance with daily refresh.
• Internal service limits — The service retains internal limits to protect API quota; they are not a paid subscription or an offer to purchase.
• Operator-only capability — Operational tooling is not an alpha user entitlement and does not include team management.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use PlayRivet to:

• Violate YouTube's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or any applicable law.
• Attempt to circumvent YouTube API quota limits, rate limits, or access controls.
• Access or modify YouTube accounts or playlists you are not authorized to manage.
• Interfere with or disrupt PlayRivet's infrastructure or other users' use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

No warranty; limitation of liability

PlayRivet is provided "as is," with no guarantee that syncing will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — YouTube API availability, quota limits, and changes outside our control can affect the service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlayRivet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including changes made to your YouTube playlists by PlayRivet acting on the rules you configured.

Termination

You may stop using PlayRivet at any time by disconnecting your Google account or deleting your PlayRivet account, both available from your account menu. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or of YouTube's terms. On account deletion, all PlayRivet data associated with your account is removed, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as PlayRivet evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of PlayRivet after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
